I have received some worrying emails this evening from a couple of photographers who have worked with GolfFile in the past and have not received any payment for work undertaken. Not sure how these individuals knew I was working with [Fran Caffrey] this week.

Also had a conversation with a photographer on course who said a similar thing. If it was one reference I would be willing to put it down as misunderstanding or sour grapes, but multiple people have warned me about payment issues.

To be honest I don’t want to get involved if I am going to have to end up chasing payments, it’s hassle I don’t need, so have made the decision to pull out of working with GolfFile.

To be honest I was lucky as I only lost a day’s pay. Was booked to cover the DP World event in Delhi couple of years ago, but was warned off by a couple of photographers on site and via email after the first day, so I told [Fran Caffrey] to do one!
